My AC went from perfect to busted less than a week after a maintenance visit under a plan I have with another provider. When the company came out again they told me a large leak and then quoted me over $10k for a unit as they passed me to their sales dept. Didn’t make sense to me given everything was perfect less than a week before and I called Air and Heat Specialists to come out and take a look.
Dylan found signs of refrigerant on the valve line. Appears the tech performing the maintenance may have not been experienced in working with the type of valve on my unit and let it leak while performing the work. He also noted the pressure readings didn’t show evidence of a large leak. A small amount of refrigerant got the unit back in operation and after several weeks no issues.

I called these guys a few days ago to get an estimate to repair my broken central AC unit
They came the next day to give me an estimate after going over my choices I went with replacing the entire unit as it was 30 years old. I chose heat and air to do the job never using them before and I’m happy to say I’m extremely happy with my choice they came exactly the time they said they would show and finished one day sooner than was expected.
The workers were very respectful and treated my home as if it were their own. These guys went above beyond to ensure everything was done properly and it shows in their work

We had upstairs unit installed in our home. We needed one for a couple of years and so glad we waited and used Dylan and his team. Extremely courteous and knowledgeable. The workers were very polite and they even took the time to pet our dog! We had to give them a call a few days later as we needed help setting the temperature and the team responded immediately. I chose this company based on prior reviews, and I was not disappointed. Evan and his team at Air and Heat Specialists of NJ responded to my call on a Sunday morning when our older heating system wasn’t working. They got us through the next 48 hours, and worked a longer day on Monday so they’d be able to install our new system on Tuesday. They were professional, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond – all at a reasonable price. Evan even helped me set up the app for our new thermostats on my phone, and made a special trip to make sure we had our serial numbers so we could register for the warranty. I highly recommend Air and Heat Specialists of NJ – they deserve all of their “5-star” reviews!

First interaction was with one of the co-owners, Dylan, who was very accessible & knowledgeable answering a lot of questions. On the day of install, the team was not only on time but early, despite coming from a great distance as I’m south of PHL, not in mid-NJ where they normally service. And they got on it, doing a tight & clean job. Most importantly, it resulted in not only the most comfortable summer, but an inexpensive one as for the most part kept the units set to 74, making the house a meat locker. Lastly, my final interactions were with the other co-owner, Evan, who was very accommodating & engaging running a courteous & professional team along with Dylan. Cannot recommend this company enough, as many have access to the equipment and have the ability to install, but it is much more about the individuals you are welcoming into your home.

My central air conditioner was a goner yesterday 8/8 needless to say it was a very hot day and even hotter today ! I think I’d called About 18 business or more ,whom some of them never got back to me or they don’t services commercial . And then I came a cross Evan’s number.So I called him but I didn’t even leave a message but he called me back which I thought was crazy …but I told him what was wrong with my A.C I don’t need a service but need to replace the units and need a estimate on price asap . He came out 30 min after we spoke and gave me an estimate and said he can get it done today!!!!! Dylan and Evan run a first class operation to go along with their exceptional service and depth of knowledge of all heating and cooling. I called Dylan during a stretch of hot days when my AC was not working to cool my house at all. Dylan came to my house in the late afternoon after he finished one of his other jobs for the day to diagnose the issue. Within minutes, Dylan was able to pinpoint the issue outside the house within the central air unit and have a solution ready. He had the problem remedied within an hour and cold air began to again blow once he restarted the system. He was a consummate professional, explained what the problem was, how we intended to rectify the issue, and offered multiple solutions. He did not try to upsell me into purchasing a whole new unit when an issue arose, but fixed the existing unit while suggesting that in a few years a replacement may be wise, in addition to the energy savings. A few days later, I received a call back from Dylan checking in on the unit to ensure that it was still functioning correctly without any problems. I was incredibly pleased with Dylan and his help with my HVAC system, and have recommended him to anyone that has needed repairs or service.
